Thomas F. “Mack” McLarty, III, ARKANSAS 1969, is Chairman of McLarty Associates, an international strategic advisory firm that he co-founded in 1998 following a distinguished record of business leadership and public service, including serving as White House Chief of Staff, Counselor, and Special Envoy for the Americas under President Bill Clinton, and being appointed by President George H. W. Bush to the National Petroleum Council, the Council on Environmental Quality, and the St. Louis Federal Reserve Board. Mr. McLarty is also Chairman of the McLarty Companies, a fourth-generation family transportation business. Previously, he served as Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Arkla, a Fortune 500 natural gas company. A summa cum laude graduate of the University of Arkansas, from which he also received an honorary doctorate, Mr. McLarty is a member of the Omega Omega chapter of Sigma Chi. Mr. McLarty was recognized as a Significant Sig in 1998. He is the recipient of the Secretary of State’s Distinguished Service Medal and the Center for the Study of the Presidency Distinguished Service Award. He and his wife Donna McLarty split their time between Washington, D.C. and Little Rock, AR.
William “Bill” McGinley, CALIFORNIA-LOS ANGELES 1989, has spent more than two decades in Washington, D.C., helping clients navigate the difficult intersection of law and politics. This unique experience enables him to develop and execute creative solutions to advance his clients’ goals and find opportunities in this highly charged political environment. Bill has been a trusted advisor to corporate and government stakeholders alike for more than 20 years, representing clients on critical policy, legal, and political concerns. Prior to joining The Vogel Group, Bill served as Assistant to the President and Cabinet Secretary in the White House and was responsible for managing The Office of Cabinet Affairs (OCA). In addition, Bill has successfully served and represented the interests of both political and private sector clients, serving as Deputy Counsel at the Republican National Committee (RNC), General Counsel at the National Republican Senatorial Committee (NRSC), and as a partner in two top-rated international law firms. Bill has also served as an Adjunct Professor at The George Washington University Law School and chaired the bipartisan Political Law Studies Initiative Steering Committee at The George Washington University Law School. Bill received his B.A. in History from the University of California at Los Angeles, M.A. in History from California State University, and J.D., with honors, from The George Washington University Law School.
