
Sigma Chi Bids Farewell to Several Members of Congress, Welcomes One New Brother to the U.S. House
The 2024 election cycle has brought significant changes to Sigma Chi’s presence in the halls of Congress. As we reflect on the outcomes, the Sigma Chi Washington D.C. Alumni Chapter would like to extend our appreciation to the brothers who have served in the U.S. House of Representatives and are now moving on to new endeavors, while also welcoming a new brother to our congressional ranks.
Farewell to Departing Sigma Chi Members in Congress
We offer our heartfelt thanks and congratulations to the following departing brothers for their dedication to public service:

Additionally, we are proud to recognize Rep. Ruben Gallego (D-Ariz.), who has successfully transitioned from the House of Representatives to the U.S. Senate.
Welcome to Brother Josh Riley (D-N.Y.)
Amid these transitions, we are pleased to welcome Josh Riley (D-N.Y.) as the newest brother elected to Congress. Representing New York’s 19th District, Brother Riley brings a wealth of experience and a dedication to public service that aligns with the values of Sigma Chi.
