Sigma Chis are men of purpose whose actions speak louder than words. Support of others for the greater good makes a lasting impact on our world, and it is an honor and responsibility we embrace.
Each quarter, the Fraternity recognizes one of its members with the Mark V. Anderson Character-in-ActionTM Leadership Award. The award recognizes those Sigs who display good character and lead with integrity by donating their time and energy to a worthy cause.
Do you know of a brother who exemplifies character in action that leads to the betterment or support of others in the community? To nominate him, send a message to [email protected] that includes his name, undergraduate university and graduation year, as well as answers the following questions:
- What is the community service or contribution for which the brother is being nominated?
- Why does he do such service or make such contribution?
- How long has he been involved in these activities?
- Why do you believe the nominee should be considered for recognition?
- For how long have you known the brother?
The application deadline operates on a rolling basis. Award recipients receive a grant from the Sigma Chi Foundation for a cause they support, a two-page article in The Magazine of Sigma Chi, an award certificate and congratulatory letter.
