Our featured speaker for the July luncheon is Pulitzer-winning journalist & Wall Street Journal Senior Reporter James Grimaldi, MISSOURI-COLUMBIA 1984.

Per the Wall Street Journal:

James V. Grimaldi s a Pulitzer Prize-winning journalist assigned to The Wall Street Journal’s investigations desk and based in Washington, D.C., where he has written about money, politics, lobbying and campaigns. He also has written about financial disclosures of judges and politicians, global money laundering, government accountability and public and corporate corruption.

A winner of many journalism awards, James has lectured at George Washington University, the University of Maryland-College Park, American University, Georgetown University and Boston College Law School. He is a graduate of the University of Missouri Journalism School and Columbia University Graduate School of Journalism and is a member of the steering committee of the Reporters Committee for Freedom of the Press.

James previously was a Knight-Bagehot fellow at Columbia University and a Ferris Professor of Journalism at Princeton University. He is a past president of Investigative Reporters and Editors and a board member for the Fund for Investigative Journalism, where he mentors grantees. James also mentors veterans entering the civilian workforce through American Corporate Partners, a charity supported by News Corp, and runs a program to support a network of local food pantries in the District of Columbia.
